OPEN HEAVENS DEVOTIONAL: SATURDAY 1ST APRIL 2017-THE HEALING NAME

Memorise: And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; Mark 16:17
Read: Acts 3:1-9
1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
Bible in one year: Leviticus 1-3, Jeremiah 5:18-6:5

AS REVEALED BY PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE IN TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL

1. There are many great things the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ can do in our lives, one of which is healing.
2. It is unfortunate that many believers today, like Gehazi of old, prefer financial and material gains to power in the Name of Jesus. They trade the precious Name of Jesus Christ for the ephemeral things of life.
3. It is also highly regrettable that this divinely exalted Name, which God the Father gave to His Son, is being despised by many today. Philippians 2:9-10 says this about the Name: “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and give him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;”
4. Here’s good news for you: every kind of sickness in this world is included among the things that bow at the mention of the Name of Jesus.
5. Today’s Bible reading shows us one of the reasons why we need to give pre-eminence to the Name of Jesus Christ.
6. Peter and John, two of the Lord’s apostles, were entering the temple at the hour of prayer, and a lame man (who was born lame) looked up to them for alms. Although they had no money, but because they knew and cherished the Name, they used its healing power to give what money could not buy to this man. In Acts 3:6b, Peter said: “Sliver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee:  I the name of Jesus Christ of Nazarethe rise up and walk.
7. The result of this effective use of the Healing Name is that a lame man, who never walked all his life, began to walk and to leap!
8. I therefore command every storm raging in your life to be still in Jesus’ Name. Have doctors written off your case? I command that sickness to leave you alone right now in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
9. Beloved of God, I am introducing the Healing Name to you today, and that Name is Jesus. If you have not encountered the owner of that Name, may I introduce Him to you as the Saviour of the spirit, soul and body.
10. Through His Name, He can deliver you ailing body from the grip of any terminal disease. All you need to do is to accept Him as your personal Lord and Saviour.
11. Believe He can heal you, and He will surely heal you by His Name.

SHORT REFLECTION BY THE LIGHT POINTERS

There is power in the name of Jesus Christ for God highly exalted Him and give him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. This means there is no hiding place for any other name that torments those who have confessed the Lordship of Christ Jesus. Things are easily conceded in darkness but Christ is light and wherever He is darkness dissappears. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5 Whoever meets with Him meets with healing for He is the Healer and the good news is that there is still Balm in Gilead for all who will come to Him. We are daily blessed as we study the Open Heavens devotional. May God refresh and bless Pastor E.A Adeboye daily as well in Jesus name.

Prayer Point
Jesus the Healer, I believe in Your Healing Name; please have mercy on me and heal me today through Your Name.
HYMN
What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
Oh, what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer!
Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged—
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful,
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Are we weak and heavy-laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge—
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In His arms He’ll take and shield thee,
You wilt find a solace there.

OPEN HEAVENS DEVOTIONAL: FRIDAY 31ST MARCH 2017-THE WAYS GOD FIGHTS

Memorise:
And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.Mark 16:20
Read: Isaiah 54:16-17
16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
Bible in one year: Exodus 39-40 and Jeremiah 5:1-17

AS REVEALED BY PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE IN TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL

1. Psalm 24:8-10 reveals our Heavenly father as the Lord of Hosts, who is mighty in battle.
2. As a Man of war, there are some battles He may fight for you, while there are some others He may fight with you. He may also fight some battles through you.
3. In Exodus 14:13-21, when the children of Israel were confronted with the Egyptians and the Red Sea, they thought their end had come, but Moses told them to be quiet, to wait and watch as the Lord would fight for them. Sure enough, God parted the Red Sea for them to go over, and He drowned all their enemies.
4. The reason why some people are in defeat is because they are trying to fight the battles that only God can fight for them.
5. You may want to ask this question: how do I identify such battles? May God open your eyes to know the battles meant for Him alone! I also pray for that God will not ignore the battles only He can fight on your behalf. The Lord will arise for you, as you give Him quality praise and worship, and He will drown your enemies.
6. In a battle against the Amorites in Joshua 10:9-14, while Joshua was busy fighting, God also was busy hurling stones upon his enemies. God and Joshua fought together and victory was won. This is an example of a battle where God fights with you.
7. In this case, God may just be waiting for you to start the fight before He joins in. Consequently, if you wait for Him to start the battle, He may never do so.
8. Take for instance the battle for the salvation of souls; God expects us to go and preach the good news of the gospel to sinners, and then He will back us up with signs and wonders (Hebrews 2:4). If you don’t go out to evangelise, you may never see the signs and wonders promised by God being manifested in your life.
9. Finally, there are battles God will fight through you. In such cases, God will be behind the scenes while He puts you forward.
10. The enemy will then examine you to see how vulnerable you are. He will be attracted to attacking you because to him, you will appear to be an easy prey. However, when he attacks, God will quietly tell you what to do, and the enemy will be floored.
11. In Mark 11:23-24, Jesus said you are the one to speak to mountain in faith, and God will move it into the sea.
12. You are the one to condemn any tongue that rises against you while God frustrates every weapon designed against you (Isaiah 54:17). In all of these, are you correctly playing your part?

SHORT REFLECTION BY THE LIGHT POINTERS

One of the the names of God is Jehovah Sabaoth which means the Lord of Host. He is the host of heavens, earth and underneath the earth. When God fights with you, your victory is assured as the Bible says in Colossians 1:16 “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:” . In other words, both visible and invisible fights, When God is in charge your victory is sure. You don’t have to struggle for physical weapons because the Bible says “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭10:4‬. May God bless Pastor E.A Adeboye for blessing us with the word of God daily.

Prayer Point:
Father, teach my hands to war and my fingers to fight only the battles You want me to fight. Also, grant me the grace to engage the enemy the way You want it done.
HYMN
1. O lord my God!
When I’m in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds
Thy hands hath made;
I see the stars,
I heard the rolling thunder
Thy pow’r throughout
The universe displayed
Chorus
Then sing my soul,
My Saviour God to thee;
How great Thou art!
How great Thou art!
Then sings my soul!
My Saviour God to thee;
How great Thou art,
How great Thou art!
2. When through the woods
And forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds
Sing sweetly in the tress;
When I look down,
From lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook,
And feel the gentle breeze.
Chorus
3. And when I think
That God, His Son not sparing
Sent him to die,
I scarce can take it in;
That on the cross,
My burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died
To take away my sin.
Chorus
4. When Christ shall come,
With shout of acclamation,
And take me home,
What joy shall fill my heart!
Then I shall bow
In humble adoration,
And then proclaim
“My God, how great Thou art!

OPEN HEAVENS DEVOTIONAL: THURSDAY 30TH MARCH 2017- SEASON OF DOMINION

Memorise: He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. Psalm 72:8
Read: Psalm 72:4-9
4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
5 They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.
6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.
7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.
8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
9 They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
Bible in one year: 37-38, Jeremiah 4:19-31

AS REVEALED BY PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE IN TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL

1. Beyond fruitfulness, part of the first mandates of God to mankind is to subdue and have dominion over all creatures He has made. Genesis 1:28 says, “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
2. To dominate is to be in charge or to take control.
3. If God did not want you to take charge, He would not have mandated you to dominate.
4. By the time God stepped into the appalling slavery situation of the Israelites, Pharaoh, who was once in control, became the one begging for help (Exodus 12:30-32). He even asked Moses to pray for him.
5. In that situation where you have been the underdog, God is turning things around and putting you in charge in Jesus’ Name.
6. It is now time for you to suppress your oppressors and tormentors, and to subdue under your feet those who had earlier taken you captive. I command the tables to turn for your good today in Jesus’ Name!
7. Meanwhile, it is good to know that since God has once turned around the situation of the oppressed, He can do it again.
8. Even if nobody has ever had dominion before in your family, it will start with you.
9. Fear not! In Joshua 10:12-14, while fighting the Amorites, the sun was about to set when Joshua interrupted it.
10. The problem is that most of us run from the enemy rather than confront him. David did not run away from the lion, the bear or even Goliath. Rather, he confronted and fought against them all.
11. In January of a particular year, I went to preach in Denver, Colorado. At that time it was very cold, and I don’t like it cold. Maybe that is partly why God made me a Nigerian. I prefer the Nigerian weather. On receiving the invitation, I asked my Daddy if I should go, and He said yes. I asked Him, “What are we going to do about the cold?” God then assured me that He would go with me.  From the first day I arrived until the day I left, people were wearing T-shirt because summer replaced winter. To know that this was not just a coincidence, within two hours after my plane took off at 5pm, more than 10cm of snow fell.
12. You too can tap into God’s mandate to dominate situations and circumstances around you from today.
13. You will dominate sin, your passions, your body and your finances from today in Jesus’ Name.

SHORT REFLECTION BY THE LIGHT POINTERS

The word of God is established once it’s spoken. To this end either we function in it or not it stands unchanged. We are fashioned to dominated by God and this dominion cuts across the sea, the air and every living thing that moveth upon the earth. To every child of God who believes, dominion should be our life. This is because Christ has been set in God’s right hand in heavenly places “far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church.” We are sitting with Christ in dominion over all as stated in the above scripture. Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. I pray our eyes of understanding shall be enlightened that we may fully dominate here on earth in Jesus name. This is an eye opener and may the vessel through which this revelation came be blessed in Jesus name.

Prayer Point
Father, because it is my season of dominion, please arise and subdue all contrary forces working against me.
HYMN
1 Through the love of God our Saviour,
all will be well.
Free and changeless is his favour,
all, all is well.
Precious is the blood that healed us,
perfect is the grace that sealed us,
strong the hand stretched forth to shield us,
all must be well.
2 Though we pass through tribulation,
all will be well.
Ours is such a full salvation,
all, all is well.
Happy, still in God confiding,
fruitful, if in Christ abiding,
holy, through the Spirit’s guiding,
all must be well.
3 We expect a bright tomorrow,
all will be well.
Faith can sing through days of sorrow,
‘All, all is well.’
On our Father’s love relying,
Jesus every need supplying,
in our living, in our dying,
all must be well.

OPEN HEAVENS DEVOTIONAL: WEDNESDAY 29TH MARCH 2017-THE MIX

Memorise: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: John 10:27
Read: Matthew 25:31-46
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Bible in one year: Exodus 35-36, Jeremiah 4:3-18

AS REVEALED BY PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE IN TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL

1. “But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”Matthew 10:6
2. The Lord deliberately refers to His own as “sheep”. He affectionately calls them “My sheep”.
3. From the above scripture, we can see that even when He is referring to sinners or those yet to be saved, He calls them the “lost sheep”.
4. The Lord’s parable in Luke 15:3-7 makes it clear that His sheep can get lost. It also illustrates that the shepherd goes looking for the lost sheep until they are found.
5. This means it is possible for sheep to go astray, but when the shepherd goes searching for them, he finds them and brings them back to the fold.
6. In John 21:15-17, in His post-resurrection appearance to Peter, Jesus repeatedly asked to him to feed His sheep and His lambs. A lamb is a baby sheep.
7. Jesus does not pastor goats but sheep. He never said, “Feed my goats.” Never! This is why I tell my children not to call themselves “Pastor’s kids”, because kids are offspring of goats and rams. God has no place for goats.
8. However, in our Bible reading today, you will observe that the sheep and the goats got mixed up together. This is so because wherever the sheep gather, goats would subtly infiltrate their fold (Matthew 13:24-30).
9. This is why some people are heading for Heaven while some others are heading for Hell in the Church.
10. The final separation will take place on the last day.
11. God allows the goats to coexist with the sheep, but on the last day, He will separate them: the sheep will be on His right hand, while the goats will be on the left. He will address them separately and send them to their separate eternal destinations. This is very serious!
12. Furthermore, this co-existence of sheep and goats gives room for pretence. That means the fellow sitting next to you might be a goat pretending to be a sheep. You also might be a goat pretending to be a sheep.
13. This calls for self examination. Jesus gave the criteria for discerning a goat from a sheep in John 10:27. He said: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:”
14. Do you pass the test of hearing His voice and following in His footsteps? Does He know you?
15. I was telling one of my sons recently how my father in the Lord use to ask me to pray for patience. In those days, when I saw someone not fully complying with what we were taught, I would go to Papa, compelling him to do something about it. He would just ask me to pray for more patience. Today, I understand better.
16. God allows goats and sheep to coexist. Are you a goat or a sheep?

SHORT REFLECTION BY THE LIGHT POINTERS

When we follow Christ and we follow His instructions even when no one is there to check or chastise us then we are His. The existing challenge is that devil is firing darts of sin which is disobedience to God’s instructions the way of every child of God and thus turning such child to a lost sheep as he or she backslides. The good news is that His arms are always open wide to receive whoever finds his or her way back to Him. The parable of our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 18:12-14 shows that the Lord cherishes His sheep so much that 99 can be left to search for one. If the Holyspirit is ministering to you to retrace your steps why not say yes to this call and go back to the cross like the prodigal son did. It’s never too late for whoever finds his/her way to Him. May God help us in Jesus name. The inspiration from the Holyspirit to write this devotional will never depart from our father in the Lord Pastor E.A Adeboye in Jesus name.

Action Point:
Use the criteria set by Jesus in John 10:27 to judge yourself to whether you are His sheep. If you have strayed from the fold, return to His loving arms and surrender your life to Him.
HYMN
1. Deeper, deeper in the love of Jesus
Daily let me go;
Higher, higher in the school of wisdom,
More of grace to know.
Chorus:
O deeper yet, I pray,
And higher every day,
And wiser, blessed Lord,
In Thy precious, holy Word.
2. Deeper, deeper, blessed Holy Spirit,
Take me deeper still,
Till my life is wholly lost in Jesus,
And His perfect will.
Chorus:
3. Deeper, deeper! though it cost hard trials,
Deeper let me go!
Rooted in the holy love of Jesus,
Let me fruitful grow.
Chorus:
4. Deeper, higher, every day in Jesus,
Till all conflict past,
Finds me conqu’ror, and in His own image
Perfected at last.
Chorus:
5. Deeper, deeper in the faith of Jesus,
Holy faith and true;
In His pow’r and soul exulting wisdom
Let me peace pursue.
Chorus.

OPEN HEAVENS DEVOTIONAL: TUESDAY 28TH MARCH 2017-INFLUENCING CITIES

Memorise: Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. Acts 8:5
Read: John 4:5-39
5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
6 Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.
7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?
28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,
29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.
31 In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.
32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.
33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?
34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.
38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.
39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.
Bible in one year:Exodus 33-34, Jeremiah 3:11-4:2

AS REVEALED BY PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE IN TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL

1. Jesus is the greatest change agent that ever lived. A genuine encounter with Him always bring about positive change in the life of a person.
2. Not only does this encounter bring about change, it also transform the changed individual into a change agent. In other words, after changing you, the Lord Jesus Christ can use you to change your city.
3. In our Bible reading, we see a woman who had been married and divorced five times, who was then living with a sixth man. At that point, she did not even bother with marriage. After she encountered Jesus, He changed the course of her life, and He used her to change her city. This is quite remarkable!
4. How can you claim to have been born again for 10 years or more, and you have not introduced any level of change into your town or village?
5. No matter how tiny the light may be it will shine in the midst of darkness and overcome it. What impact have you made on your village, community, town or city? How many of your folks know you to be a Christian?
6. A pastor died some time ago, and when his extended family members gathered to plan his burial, some of them thought of burying him the traditional way. His close relatives protested this and had to inform the other family members that he was a pastor.
7. In your village, do people know you to be a born-again Christian? How many of them can say their lives have changed for the better since they encountered Jesus through you?
8. Moreover, if your encounter with Jesus is taken seriously, He can even use you to change your nation.
9. Never underestimate the power of transformation that starts from just one fellow.
10. Most of us are not pulling our weight spiritually in our nations.
11. If you look at the Acts of the Apostles, you will find some change agents that God used to win whole cities and to turn around nations for Christ. Acts 13:43-44 says, “Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God. And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.”
12. However, the extent to which God can use you will be determined by the degree of change you have allowed Him to perform in you.
13. It will also depend on your mindset, love for God, level of alignment of God’s desire with yours, and the level of sacrifice you are ready to make.
14. While some people are only leading a few souls to Christ, some others are leading whole cities or nations to Him.
15. How impactful do you want to be?

SHORT REFLECTION BY THE LIGHT POINTERS

Brethren today’s article is a big challenge to everyone who falls in the category described by our father in the Lord. It is also a call to service for the dormant children of God. I strongly believe one of the reasons we were left here on earth after being born again is for us to be able to reach out to others who are still in darkness and yet to know of Christ. It is our duty to make disciples of all nations. Reaching your world starts from reaching your immediate environment. Your family members, your neighbours, your colleague, classmates, friends, course mate etc. Starting with these ones is a move of faith and righteousness. It is a spiritual exercise and should be treated as such. Prayerfully win those on your list first before reaching out to them and be sure the Holyspirit will prosper God’s word in their heart. What is required of us is to take that bold step of winning souls and I pray every hindrance to this step is uprooted in Jesus name. We are grateful to God for blessing us with Pastor E.A Adeboye. This devotional is a great blessing to our generation. May he increase in strength and ability in Jesus’ name.

Key Point:
Your heavenly rewards will be determined by you here on earth.
HYMN
Wonderful story of love;
Tell it to me again;
Wonderful story of love;
Wake the immortal strain!
Angels with rapture announce it,
Shepherds with wonder receive it;
Sinner, oh, won’t you believe it?
Wonderful story of love.
Refrain:
Wonderful! Wonderful!
Wonderful, wonderful story of love.
Wonderful story of love;
Though you are far away;
Wonderful story of love;
Still He doth call today;
Calling from Calvary’s mountain,
Down from the crystal-bright fountain,
E’en from the dawn of creation,
Wonderful story of love. Refrain
Wonderful story of love;
Jesus provides a rest;
Wonderful story of love;
For all the pure and blest,
Rest in those mansions above us,
With those who’ve gone on before us,
Singing the rapturous chorus,
Wonderful story of love. Refrain

OPEN HEAVENS DEVOTIONAL: MONDAY, MARCH 27TH 2017- DIVINE ACCEPTANCE

Memorise: And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer, and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. Isaiah 65:24
Read: Acts 10:30-44
30 And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
31 And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
32 Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee.
33 Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God
34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;
41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
Bible in one year: Exodus 31-32, Jeremiah 2:33-3:10

AS REVEALED BY PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE IN TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL

1. “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” Isaiah 65:24
2. The above scripture contains a very profound promise from God to His people. The Lord manifested His commitment to fulfilling this promise in today’s Bible reading. Acts 10:44 says, “While Peter yet spake those words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.”
3. Before Peter finished his sermon, he had not even made any altar call or said any prayer when God poured out His Spirit, and the fire fell on all those hearing his voice.
4. The answer to Cornelius’ prayer came while Peter was still speaking, in consonance with the promise of God in Isaiah 65:24.
5. Do you know that the devil still delays prayers?
6. This is why it is very important for us to be baptized in the Holy Spirit; this helps to expedite answers to our prayers (Romans 8:26).
7. When you pray with your understanding or in a language the devil understands, he can take steps to hinder the answer to that prayer.
8. In Daniel 10:1-14, when Daniel decided to set himself apart to seek God’s face in fasting and prayer, God immediately dispatched an angel to bring him the answer to his request that very day. However, the devil equally sent a principality to block the way of this angel for 21 days, until reinforcement was sent to help him.
9. If you pray in the Spirit, the devil will be thrown into confusion, and he won’t know when the answer to prayer is coming; neither will he know the angel brining it. In that way, the answer to your prayer is not hindered.
10. In addition to answering the prayer of Cornelius, God also accepted his offerings. There is nothing as painful as offering something to God and He refuses to accept it.
11. When Cain’s offering was rejected, he was so devastated that he murdered his younger brother (Genesis 4:3-5). On the other hand, when Solomon’s offering was accepted, he received a divine visitation (2nd Chronicles 1:6-12).
12. Let me share what I normally do during offering time with you. When the minister says we should lift up our offering to God and pray, l asks God to send down His fire and take up the offering to Himself. So before I drop the offering in the basket, it is already gone. The cheque may be in the basket, but the actual offering has been taken by fire to Heaven.
13. I pray that from today, God will accept all your offerings and sacrifices to Him!

SHORT REFLECTION BY THE LIGHT POINTERS

When someone receives divine acceptance from God everything around concurs and cooperate. The evidence of this acceptance also becomes visible for all to see. Everything falls in the right place with little or no effort. We should therefore not only be aware that devil stand to prevent our access to this divine acceptance even when God releases it unto us but we should make effort to stop the devil from having such liberty. May we, our offerings and request be divinely accepted by God in Jesus name. God bless Pastor E.A Adeboye for blessing us with the word of God daily in Jesus name.

Prayer Point
Father, I offer myself as a living sacrifice to You. Accept me and release Your holy fire on me. Fulfil Your promise by expediting the answer to my prayers and cause my joy to be full.
HYMN
1 O spread the tidings ’round, wherever man is found,
Wherever human hearts and human woes abound.
Let every Christian tongue proclaim the joyful sound:
The Comforter has come!
Refrain:
The Comforter has come! The Comforter has come!
The Holy Ghost from heav’n, the Father’s promise giv’n,
O spread the tidings ’round, wherever man is found:
The Comforter has come!
2 The long, long night is past; the morning breaks at last;
And hushed the dreadful wail and fury of the blast,
As o’er the golden hills the day advances fast!
The Comforter has come! [Refrain]
3 Lo, the great King of kings, with healing in His wings,
To every captive soul a full deliv’rance brings;
And thro’ the vacant cells the song of triumph rings;
The Comforter has come! [Refrain]
4 O boundless love divine! How shall this tongue of mine
To wond’ring mortals tell the matchless grace divine –
That I, a child of hell, should in His image shine?
The Comforter has come! [Refrain]

OPEN HEAVENS DEVOTIONAL: SUNDAY, MARCH 26TH 2017-LADEN WITH CAREER BURDENS?

Memorise: For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder. Psalm 107:16
Read: Luke 5:1-11
1 And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,
2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.
3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.
4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.
9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:
10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.
Bible in one year: Exodus 29-30, Jeremiah 2:20-32

AS REVEALED BY PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE IN TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL

1. One of the methods devised by the devil to impede our forward march on the straight and narrow way is to steal our joy and happiness. To achieve this, our enemy may make use of career burdens.
2. The presence of a career burden might be the reason why you see some persons who were not as intelligent as you were during your school days, or even those who graduated several years after you did, now far ahead of you career-wise.
3. A fellow under this yoke will want to hide his face when he or she comes face to face with an erstwhile junior, who is now better placed.
4. Many years ago, while still lecturing at the University of Lagos, a professor applied for an advertised job and was invited for an interview. When he got to the boardroom where the interview panel was sitting, he soon discovered that the chairman of the panel was one of his students who had recently graduated. He therefore said to the panel, “I am sorry, it seems I came to the wrong room.” “You are not in the wrong room sir”, replied the ex-student. But he insisted and left.
5. You need to periodically take stock of your career to ensure you are where you ought to be.
6. If you are deeply unhappy at your job because you are positioned at the level where you ought to be, the devil might be playing his dirty tricks on you.
7. Are you in a situation where some people you interviewed for employment are now your superiors in the same office?
8. Have you been denied your promotion for several years in spite of your hard work, and as a result, not only are your mates now your superiors, even your juniors have become your superiors? If you are experiencing any of these, you might be operating under a career burden from the pit of hell.
9. The aim of this burden is to make you frustrated and disillusioned.
10. Similarly, when your efforts are not receiving a commensurate reward like Peter in our Bible reading today, you might be carrying a career burden.
11. Peter toiled all night long but caught nothing. I can relate with his experience because I love to fish. When I want to relax sometimes, I go fishing with my hook. From experience, within five minutes of casting the hook, a fish is taken; but occasionally, I spend hours without catching a single fish. Not too long ago, after spending some considerable time, I eventually caught a fish, but while pulling it out, it jumped back into the river, and there was nothing I could do about it.
12. You might have failed in your career or business, not because you wanted to fail or because you were lazy: the presence of a career burden might be the cause.
13. In the Name of Jesus, in any way you have been a victim of this wickedness of Satan, you are delivered today!
14. That burden is destroyed and taken away from you!
15. All you have lost over the years is restored to you this season!

SHORT REFLECTION BY THE LIGHT POINTERS

Matthew 11: 28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. The invitation we got from Jesus in the scripture above is generalised. And it is for all categories of labour and burden. The category of burden revealed in today’s devotional falls in the burden category. The good news is that Jesus the burden bearer is there to help bear the burden and ease us of pain. For as many that will go to Him as they are there will be a lifting of such career burden. When confusion sets in as regards career, He is a waymaker and ever present help in time of need. The Lord will help us to seek Him that we may live a burden free life in Jesus name. We pray that as the studying this devotional brings better understanding of the word of God, the pool of wisdom of Pastor E.A Adeboye will never run dry but it will increases by each day in Jesus name.

Prayer Point:
I command that every career burden in my life and family be lifted now in Jesus’ Name.
HYMN
1 Through the love of God our Saviour,
all will be well.
Free and changeless is his favour,
all, all is well.
Precious is the blood that healed us,
perfect is the grace that sealed us,
strong the hand stretched forth to shield us,
all must be well.
2 Though we pass through tribulation,
all will be well.
Ours is such a full salvation,
all, all is well.
Happy, still in God confiding,
fruitful, if in Christ abiding,
holy, through the Spirit’s guiding,
all must be well.
3 We expect a bright tomorrow,
all will be well.
Faith can sing through days of sorrow,
‘All, all is well.’
On our Father’s love relying,
Jesus every need supplying,
in our living, in our dying,
all must be well.

OPEN HEAVENS DEVOTIONAL: SATURDAY, MARCH 25TH 2017- ARE YOU GROWING?

Memorise: For everyone that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. Hebrews 5:13
Read: Hebrews 5:11-14
11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Bible in one year: Exodus 28, Jeremiah 2:1-19

AS REVEALED BY PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE IN TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL

1. Attaining maturity in the Kingdom of God is a process that occurs in stages, the first of which is babyhood. When a person becomes born again, he or she has to first learn the basic principles of life in Christ. Believers at this stage are fed with the milk of God’s word (1st Peter 2:2). They cannot take anything hard because they are babies. They depend on others to simplify processes for them. Just like babies in the natural realm, other people must carry them and clean them up; all they do is eat, play and sleep. If you are too dependent on others, you are most likely still in the babyhood stage spiritually, irrespective of your biological age. If you are very selective of the word of God you read, believe and practice, you are a baby.
2. If you are always complaining about other people, what they did and how they did it, you could just be a baby. Spiritual babies are so dependant on the prayers of others. When confronted by the storms of life, if instead of going on your knees to pray, you find yourself pursuing one pastor or prophet around to pray for you, it is because you need to grow up.
3. Another level of maturity is adulthood. Christians in this stage are mature and no longer depend on milk but eat strong meat. Hebrews 5:14 says this about them: “But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” One major difference between those in babyhood and those in the adulthood stage of maturity is their level of discernment. Babes cannot discern anything. Anywhere people erect a signpost and call it a church, a babe will go there to worship. To him or her, every church is a Church of God.
4. On the other hand, adults are more discerning. They are able to test every spirit they come in contact with by comparing the character of such spirits with the Holy Scriptures. They are also able to apply the “fruit test”, for every tree will be identified by the fruit it produces.
5. An adult Christian is able to differentiate between good and evil. He or she can tell who is a servant of God and who is not. Can you call yourself an adult Christian? How sharp is your ability to discern? Are you able to discern between right and wrong? It is amazing that some Christians, who claim to have been saved for several years, still cannot discern between true and false prophets. Are you fellowshipping with people you should not be fellowshipping with? Can you differentiate the Holy Spirit from unclean spirits at any point in time?

SHORT REFLECTION BY THE LIGHT POINTERS

Are you growing? Am I growing? Can you say you are in the adulthood category as a child of God? Or you still fall in the childhood category? 2 Timothy 3:16 says- All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. I believe the Holy spirit inspired the writing of today’s article to point us to the profitable category every christian should belong to. We are to therefore take this reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness so as to function in God’s will and not tossed around. It is of great profit to us when we grow from babes into adulthood in the things of God. Ephesians: 4:14-15 “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ” May God continue to uphold the author of this great devotional Pastor E.A Adeboye in Jesus name.

Prayer Point
Father, grant me grace to grow to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
HYMN
Deeper, deeper in the love of Jesus
Daily let me go;
Higher, higher in the school of wisdom,
More of grace to know.
Refrain:
Oh, deeper yet, I pray,
And higher every day,
And wiser, blessed Lord,
In Thy precious, holy Word.
Deeper, deeper, blessed Holy Spirit,
Take me deeper still,
Till my life is wholly lost in Jesus,
And His perfect will.
Deeper, deeper! though it cost hard trials,
Deeper let me go!
Rooted in the holy love of Jesus,
Let me fruitful grow.
Deeper, higher, every day in Jesus,
Till all conflict past,
Finds me conqu’ror, and in His own image
Perfected at last.
Deeper, deeper in the faith of Jesus,
Holy faith and true;
In His pow’r and soul exulting wisdom
Let me peace pursue.

OPEN HEAVENS DEVOTIONAL: FRIDAY , MARCH 24TH 2017-REOPENING CLOSED CASES

Memorise: He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision. Psalms 2:4
Read: Daniel 6:10-17
10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
11 Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.
12 Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.
13 Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.
14 Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.
15 Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.
16 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.
17 And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.
Bible in one year: Exodus 26-27, Jeremiah 1

AS REVEALED BY PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE IN TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL

1. The Lord of hosts never loses a war. If He gives up a battle, it is because He wants to use that medium to win a war.
2. Our God is always full of surprises. When Daniel’s enemies were plotting against him, God knew about it but He kept quiet. By the time Daniel fell into their trap and was thrown into the lion’s den, God did nothing about it. After the entrance to the lion’s den was shut behind Daniel, everyone thought he was finished.
3. By the following morning however, God sprang some surprises on them all. The fellow they thought was dead and digested in the bellies of the lions came out alive. You are coming out from wherever the enemies placed you – alive, stronger, richer and better!
4. All the mischief makers who thought Daniel’s case was closed received a rude shock: his case was reopened, and what they thought was in their favour turned against them.
5. That case that was decided against you in your office or in your extended family shall be revisited in Jesus’ Name! What they thought was closed shall suddenly be reopened. The Lord will spring surprises on your enemies this season!
6. In addition, the table turned for Daniel’s enemies. Not only were they now to become food for the lions, so also were their family members. This season, all those plotting against you shall be completely wiped out! None of them shall escape in Jesus’ Name!
7. Another surprise God sprang on the enemies of Daniel was that, by the reason of Daniel’s miraculous deliverance from their lion’s den, the God of Daniel became officially recognised and feared all over the kingdom as the true and living God. In Daniel 6:26, the king said, “I make a decree, that in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.”
8. Beyond this, after the coast was clear, Daniel prospered in the kingdom. He remained relevant in the corridors of power in successive governments and was recognised as a man that could not be ignored. Daniel 6:28 says, “So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.”
9. If you are prepared to pay the utmost price for the Kingdom of God, you can be sure you will receive divine compensation beyond your imagination.
10. How are you living today? Can you take a stand for the Lord in righteousness and refuse to compromise with sin?

SHORT REFLECTION BY THE LIGHT POINTERS

When the extra ordinary strategist is with you on your case you can be sure you won’t be destroyed. Judt like Daniel the 3 Hebrew boys were also vindicated. Another reopened case that let out a praise song was that of Mordecai. Haman plotted evil against him and the jews but instead of his evil plan to prevail, God made the king to loose his sleep and He reopened Mordecai’s forgotten favour to the king. The evil Haman plotted against Mordecai was turned to glory and Haman died a shameful death. When we know our God, we are strong and we do exploits. We should therefore remain firm in righteousness and stay away from anything that can stop the mighty hand of God to move on our behalf. When He moves and reopens closed case, we don’t just get vindicated, we also get blessed and lifted. He still upturns cases today, look to Him for yours. God bless our father Pastor E.A Adeboye for yet another insightful teaching in today’s devotional. May his strength be renewed in Jesus name.

Prayer Point:
Father, upturn every case the enemy has judged and concluded against me, my loved ones and members of my local assembly in Jesus’ name.
HYMN
1 Through the love of God our Saviour,
all will be well.
Free and changeless is his favour,
all, all is well.
Precious is the blood that healed us,
perfect is the grace that sealed us,
strong the hand stretched forth to shield us,

all, all is well.
Happy, still in God confiding,

all must be well.
3 We expect a bright tomorrow,
all will be well.
Faith can sing through days of sorrow,

OPEN HEAVENS DEVOTIONAL: THURSDAY , MARCH 23RD 2017- FRUITFULNESS: A MUST!

Memorise: And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. Genesis 17:6
Read: Genesis 17:4-6
4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
Bible in one year: Exodus 24-25, Isaiah 66:15-24

AS REVEALED BY PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE IN TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL

1. The very first mandate of God to mankind is to be fruitful (Genesis 1:28). This tells you how important your fruitfulness is to God.
2. I declare that this is your season of fruitfulness! Today, everything standing in your way to fruitfulness shall be uprooted and destroyed in Jesus’ Name.
3. Speaking of fruitfulness, you can be fruitful in different areas of life.
4. Do you know that it takes just an idea to become a billionaire? Yet there are people who receive idea after idea. Ideas just keep coming to them because they are fruitful.
5. Every spiritual embargo hindering you from receiving workable, lucrative, life-changing ideas is destroyed today in Jesus’ Name! From now on, you are connected to God’s storehouse of ideas, and you will never run out of them!
6. The Shunammite woman in 2nd Kings 4:8-17 had everything: a good name, financial resources, political connections and a supportive extended family, but she did not have her own child.
7. Sometimes, life turns out this way. You may be okay in every area of life, except one. You may be making progress in every area except one. Do you know that God is interested even in that area where you are challenged? Yes, He is. If you are experiencing such, today, the Lord will make a way for you! It is your turn to be fruitful.
8. I was in Britain not too long ago, and among the testimonies I heard was one from a friend of mine, who is a professor. This testimony made me dance. His secretary had been trusting God for the fruit of the womb for some time, and so he called me, requesting to bring her to me for prayers. However, I was already on my way out at this time, and so I asked him to give her the phone. I prayed with her, and the Almighty God backed up the voice of His servant. By the time he called again, she had delivered triplet!
9. Are you trusting God for a baby? The door is opened to you now. Receive your children in Jesus’ Name!
10. Has your intellect been unfruitful? Have you been struggling with poor grades in your academic work? Receive a touch from God today.
11. I command your intellect to be fruitful from today!
12. Draw closer to God. Show Him how much you love Him. Worship Him, praise and thank Him. Give to Him and minister to His servants. Make Him happy by winning souls. The Lord will arise for you today.

SHORT REFLECTION BY THE LIGHT POINTERS

Glory to God! I say a big amen to the powerful declarations from our father in the Lord and I enjoin you to also to make the declarations in the action point. It is clear our father made us to be friutful and anything contrary to our fruitfulness is not of Him. We should therefore stand firm and take charge of the situations that are not yielding fruit as expected in prayer because our fruitfulness is a must. We shall be victorious in Jesus name. The anointing upon our father Pastor E.A Adeboye will never run dry in Jesus name.

Action Point:
Make these declarations over your life: I receive the grace to be fruitful from now on, and every hindrance on my fruitfulness is destroyed today in Jesus ‘ Name!
HYMN
There shall be showers of blessing:
This is the promise of love;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
Sent from the Savior above.
Refrain:
Showers of blessing,
Showers of blessing we need:
Mercy-drops round us are falling,
But for the showers we plead.
There shall be showers of blessing,
Precious reviving again;
Over the hills and the valleys,
Sound of abundance of rain.
There shall be showers of blessing;
Send them upon us, O Lord;
Grant to us now a refreshing,
Come, and now honor Thy Word.
There shall be showers of blessing:
Oh, that today they might fall,
Now as to God we’re confessing,
Now as on Jesus we call!
